General Applications

• Forest Lite Type 1 is a single jacket, polyurethane lined lightweight hose intended for use in wildland fire suppression.

Construction

• Lining – The Thermoplastic extruded PU interior lining shall be a single-ply extruded tube and shall be unaffected by ozone. The finished form shall be free of pits or other imperfections and shall have a smooth finish. No reclaimed material shall be used.


• Jacket Construction – The jacket is virgin high tenacity polyester.


• Color – White

• Service Temperature Range is -40°F (-40°C) to +150°F (+65°C)


• Lightweight, extremely flexible and easy to pack.


• Available in 50’ and 100’ lengths.


• Couplings – Expansion-type hard coat anodized aluminum. NST, NPSH, or 1/4-Turn couplings are available.


• Meets or exceeds National Fire Products Association (NFPA) 1961 Standard on Fire Hose (current edition) as well as U.S. Forest Service F-187 standard.
