V-Belts run your power drive system by way of friction, making them an extremely high-tension solution. Due to their relatively low cost and ease of installation, V-Belts are among the most commonly used belts for industrial applications. The V-Shape is specifically designed to fit into the pulley's sheave grooves, making slippage and failure far less likely than with a traditional flat belt and pulley systems.
V-BELT OPTIONSBanded V-Belts
When used in place of multiple V-Belts, Banded V-Belts improve your system’s performance with pulsating loads. By introducing a joint configuration, Banded V-Belts are far less likely to turn over, and belt replacement no longer requires the matching of multiple single bands.
BANDED V-BELT OPTIONSTiming Belts
When combined with toothed pulleys or sprockets, a timing-band helps your system operate with improved timing. Its toothed profile lends it a higher power density than other belts, allowing usage of smaller belts and pulleys in a comparable load.
